ECH-3-LN (Echelon) is an automated guidance system which operates the lab in which Phalanx awakens after the great disaster. Phalanx allows him to install an instance of himself into her suit, from which it can fork-off copies of itself into more suitable combat armor whenever possible. Echelon’s sole directive is to direct Phalanx and focus her efforts onto gaining access to the CORE. Direct and cutting, Echelon’s personality is unusually forceful and willing to go to any length to achieve the destruction of the CORE.
