• Islanders, they fought fierce naval battles that kept most other nations at bay. What fewer knew was that these mock battles were staged and dramatized to flout a greater level of power, might and prowess than they actually possessed.
• Their early access to oceanic oil reserves and knowledge of fireworks and combustion helped them dramatically when the military age occurred, though most naval battles continued to be pompous, flagrant displays of their prowess, more-so than real threats.
• A warm, friendly and jovial set of peoples, most of the west islanders would prefer to spend their days feasting and frolicing at the beach.
• However, when any island nation was threatened, all of the islanders would band together to severely punish any who tried to escape.
